Detail of Join Pakistan Army as a Commissioned Officer 2024:
Position: Commissioned Officer (2nd Lieutenant)
The selected candidates will go through rigorous training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul, Abbottabad, with the aim of developing leadership skills, physical fitness, and military proficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:

- Male citizens of Pakistan.
- Candidates with dual nationality must renounce their foreign citizenship upon final selection.
Marital Status:
-
- Unmarried (married candidates are eligible if they are serving armed forces personnel over the age of 20).
Age:
- Intermediate or equivalent (FA/FSc): 17-22 years.
- Graduates (2-year programs): 17-23 years.
- Graduates (4-year programs): 17-24 years.
- Serving Armed Forces Personnel: 17-25 years.
- Age relaxation is provided as per Army rules.
Education:
- Minimum FA/FSc or equivalent with at least 55% marks.
Physical Standards:

- Height: Minimum 5’4” (162.5 cm).
- Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI).
Training Duration:
- 2 years
Selection Process:
Registration:
- Candidates must register online or visit the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (ASRC).
Preliminary Tests:

- Written/intelligence tests conducted at ASRCs.
- Physical tests include:
- 1.6 km run in 8 minutes.
- 15 push-ups in 2 minutes.
- 20 sit-ups in 2 minutes.
- 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board):
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for ISSB tests, including psychological evaluation, outdoor tasks, interviews, and group discussions.
Medical Examination:
- Candidates must pass a thorough medical examination at designated military hospitals.
Final Selection:
- Based on overall merit and performance in all tests, the final selection will be made by GHQ.
