Eligibility Criteria of Higher Education Department Scholarship Program 2024:
Applicable Students:
- Scholarships are only for students of AJK institutions who passed the 2024 Annual Examination.
Minimum Marks Required:
- Primary Level: At least 90% marks in exams conducted by the Elementary Board.
- Matric Level: At least 85% marks.
- Intermediate Level: At least 80% marks.
Bachelor’s/Master’s Programs:
- For 2-year degrees, at least 70% marks.
- Professional courses require a minimum of 80% marks in Higher Secondary examinations.
Annual Performance:
- Students must maintain a minimum of 60% marks in ongoing academic sessions to continue receiving the scholarship.
Technical Courses:
- Students enrolled in 3-year diploma courses under TEVTA with at least 60% marks are eligible.
False Information:
- Candidates found providing false information will face cancellation of the degree and legal action.
Professional Courses:
- Scholarships for MBBS, BDS, LLB (Hons.), DVM, D. Pharmacy, etc., are one-time grants only.
Non-Eligibility:
- Part-time, weekend, and distance education students are not eligible.
- Students already availing of other scholarships are not eligible.
Special Consideration:
- Students from Line of Control (LOC) areas will receive a 5% marks relaxation upon submitting a certificate from the Deputy Commissioner.
Required Documentation:
- Attested copies of:
- State subject certificate.
- Domicile certificate.
- Recent passport-size photograph.
- Result card.
- CNIC or B-form.
Orphans:
- Orphan students below 18 years must attach their mother’s CNIC copy.
Certification Requirement:
- Applications must be certified by the head of the institution.
